OCTOCX easily integrates into the operator’s app (Host App) through a lightweight SDK, compatible with Android 10 or higher. The integration can be completed in under 30 minutes and includes full technical documentation, remote support, and examples for Flutter, React Native, and Kotlin.

It works with both physical SIMs and eSIMs and can operate with cards enabled with or without operator privileges (OCTOCX profile). To make the most of its features (such as auto-configuration and remote actions), it is recommended that SIMs be customized with the  OCTOCX profile before being manufactured or activated, which is coordinated with providers like Thales, Valid, or other compatible manufacturers. OCTOCX is compliant with Google Play policies and does not interfere with the device’s performance or battery consumption.

OCTO CX detects, corrects, and prevents errors in essential configurations to ensure seamless mobile connectivity. The most common include:

  • Incorrect or missing APN and APN IMS settings
  • Disabled or unsupported VoLTE and VoWiFi
  • Unconfigured Passpoint profiles
  • Incompatible network type or selection (3G, 4G, 5G, NR-SA/NSA)
  • Roaming turned off or misconfigured
  • Mobile data blocked by system settings
  • Actions can be performed automatically or assisted, depending on device capabilities and privilege level.

Performance may vary on older phones or those with heavy manufacturer customization.

A QA test is recommended before mass deployment to ensure alignment with operator-specific conditions.

OCTO CX collects over 200 technical and user experience metrics directly from mobile devices, continuously and without requiring user interaction.

These measurements are taken in the background at configurable intervals, which can range from every 15 minutes to every few hours, depending on the level of monitoring required by the operator.

OCTO CX only requires the standard permissions of the Android operating system to access technical information such as network quality, SIM status, and device configuration. It does not access personal content or sensitive information such as photos, messages, background location, or microphone.

  • The experience of granting permissions is fluid and non-intrusive:
  • Permissions are requested transparently during installation or the first execution of the app.
  • The process integrates easily into the usual flow of use of the operator’s application.
  • It does not require additional actions by the user after the first use.

In addition, OCTO CX can adapt to the data privacy regulations of each country, including standards such as GDPR in Europe, the Personal Data Protection Law in Mexico, and other local laws. It also supports anonymization or masking processes if required by the operator.
