The Role
We're hiring our founding Product Designer to define how Octolytics looks, feels, and works — across the entire product surface and beyond it.
This is a hybrid product + UI role. You'll own the design system end-to-end and apply it everywhere: our Device X console, the SDK companion experience, our website, our analytics dashboards, and the materials that carry our story to enterprise buyers. You'll shape an aesthetic that's serious, minimal, and elegant — the visual signature of an enterprise platform that telecom CTOs trust.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a cohesive design system that spans product UIs, marketing site, presentations, and documentation.
- Lead the visual evolution of our website — minimal, technical, enterprise-grade.
- Redesign Device X and the SDK companion experience to bring clarity to data-heavy operational workflows.
- Design UI patterns for telemetry-rich views: signal exploration, KPI dashboards, device deep-dives, measurement strategy tables.
- Partner closely with engineering to ship UI changes and tailor the platform for enterprise pilots and proofs-of-concept.
- Translate dense technical capabilities into clear visual narratives for both technical and business audiences.
- Contribute to documentation design — reference tables, integration guides, parameter catalogs.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of product / UI design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer tooling, telecom, fintech, or other technical enterprise domains.
- A portfolio that shows enterprise-grade, minimal, technical aesthetics — not consumer-app polish.
- Demonstrated experience building and evolving a design system from the ground up.
- Fluent in Figma; comfortable producing tokens and components that translate cleanly into code.
- Strong product thinking — you can move from a fuzzy problem to a shipped flow without needing the spec handed to you.
- Ability to balance system-level rigor with hands-on, pixel-level craft.
- Working English (the team and our clients operate in English and Spanish).
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for technical or developer audiences (SDKs, dashboards, telemetry, observability).
- Background designing data visualizations or network/telecom products.
- Familiarity with web fundamentals — accessibility, performance, content structure, basic SEO.
